Automotive Apprentice Technician

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry and eager to learn hands-on skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. The successful candidate will assist in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while gaining practical experience toward becoming a certified automotive technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery checks, and fluid top-ups.
- Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and workshop procedures.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Enrollment in or completion of an automotive technology program (preferred).
- Strong interest in automotive repair and technology.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced garage environment.
