Job Description

Seeking an experienced Powertrain HIL Validation Engineer with strong expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation to support powertrain system testing and validation activities.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3-8 years of experience in HIL validation.
  • Hands-on experience with dSPACE ControlDesk.
  • Strong knowledge of the Powertrain domain.
  • Solid understanding of On-Board Diagnostics (OBD).
  • Experience with ECU validation and automotive testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform HIL validation and testing for powertrain control systems.
  • Develop, execute, and analyze test cases using dSPACE ControlDesk.
  • Validate powertrain ECUs against functional and performance requirements.
  • Perform fault injection, signal monitoring, and test automation on HIL setups.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) requirements and standards.
  • Document test procedures, results, and validation reports.
