Buyer

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a Buyer to join their team. As a Buyer, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Buyer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $26.44-$31.25/hr DOE plus benefits

What's the Job?

• Manage all aspects related to the purchase of direct and indirect capital goods and services

• Conduct competitive bids and analyze total costs to identify savings opportunities

• Negotiate with suppliers, review contract terms, and resolve exceptions

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and company policies

• Monitor market trends and manage supplier communication to optimize supply chain efficiency

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED

• 5+ years of procurement experience in goods and services buying

• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

• Proficiency with electronic purchasing systems and negotiation techniques

• Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and strategic supplier management

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder
