Job Overview
The Lead Software Engineer - aiR for Review is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cutting-edge generative AI-driven web applications that are transforming our business landscape. This role uniquely blends deep technical knowledge with a collaborative approach to overcome complex challenges, mentor peers, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions on Microsoft Azure.
What You'll Do
Build & Deliver: Develop and manage secure, maintainable, and scalable web applications leveraging object-oriented principles and cloud-native architectures.
Lead by Example: Offer technical guidance, drive design decisions, elevate engineering standards, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Raise the Bar: Advocate for automated testing, static analysis, observability, and DevOps practices to enhance performance and reliability.
Full-Stack Impact: Deliver impactful solutions across both front-end (utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks) and back-end (service-oriented systems).
Leverage the Cloud: Utilize microservices, containerization, and Azure services (.NET, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, App Services, Docker) to create scalable platforms.
Work Smarter with AI: Employ AI-assisted coding tools to expedite development and focus on solving critical business challenges.
Foster Collaboration: Encourage team success through pair programming, thoughtful code reviews, design sessions, and comprehensive documentation.
Mentor & Grow Talent: Coach engineers in secure coding practices, cloud-native design principles, and troubleshooting with modern observability techniques.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience in building commercial-grade software and cloud-native applications.
Hands-on expertise with Azure Cloud services, Docker, .NET, JavaScript, Cosmos DB, and SQL Server.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and distributed services within Microsoft Azure.
Proven track record of delivering exceptional solutions in fast-paced environments.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
Bonus Points
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong proficiency across full-stack development, encompassing front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience with AI-assisted coding tools for productivity enhancement.
Relativity offers competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
This position provides a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this position is $126,000 to $190,000. Final salary will be determined based on factors including the candidate's experience, skill set, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the high end of the range is uncommon, allowing for meaningful salary growth in this role.
