Training Specialist

The Training Specialist plays a key role in supporting employee growth and development across Premium Parking. This role ensures every team member is equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to deliver exceptional service and uphold operational excellence across our growing portfolio.
The Training Specialist is responsible for managing the Development Associate Program, overseeing the 360 Learning Platform, creating and curating engaging learning content, and serving as a resource for employees with system and training-related questions.
Key Responsibilities
Development Associate Program Management
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Development Associate (DA) Program, including selection of candidates, planning, scheduling, and evaluating program effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, providing onboarding, ongoing support, and coaching.
- Manage DA projects and maintain grading and progress tracking tools.
- Report on program KPIs, including completion rates, satisfaction, and performance outcomes.
- Deliver presentations and updates to leadership on program success and improvement opportunities.
- Manage the 360 Learning Platform, ensuring all content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with company goals.
- Oversee both compliance and professional development courses, monitoring completion and engagement.
- Design, develop, and update training materials across multiple topics and delivery methods (online, blended, in-person).
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and applicability of training content.
- Communicate new and updated training courses to stakeholders.
- Leverage data and AI-driven tools to enhance personalization and efficiency in training delivery.
- Serve as a resource for employees with questions about Premium systems, including Product, HR, and Learning platforms.
- Provide guidance, troubleshooting, and user training to promote system adoption and efficiency.
- Develop self-service resources and FAQs to reduce support requests and empower users.
- Partner with HR and leaders across departments to align training programs with operational goals and employee experience.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies and learning practices to keep Premium's programs innovative and effective.
- Contribute to onboarding and professional development initiatives that strengthen retention and employee engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience); Master's preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or program management preferred.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (360 Learning or similar) and content development tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Experience in hospitality, parking, or operations is a plus.
Work Environment & Reporting
The Training Specialist reports to the Director of Training and collaborates closely with HR, Sales, Market Presidents, and Department Leaders.
This role is based in our New Orleans Corporate Office and requires an on-site presence to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
