Job Description

Join Teledyne Qioptiq and bring precision to advanced assembly We're seeking a Solder-Assembly Technician to support high-quality electro-mechanical assembly operations. If you have strong soldering skills and thrive in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.

What you'll do

• Perform soldering, wire and cable assembly, and related operations.

• Maintain and operate soldering equipment.

• Assemble components using hand tools and follow engineering drawings.

• Conduct experiments on high-voltage, high-power devices.

• Inspect finished products for quality and assist in resolving production issues.

• Utilize electrical schematics to wire systems and cabinets.

• Operate microscopes, gauges, and crimping equipment for precision work.

What you need

• 3+ years of soldering and assembly experience (required)

• Ability to solder and de-solder SMT and through-hole components (required)

• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools (required)

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints (required)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for security clearance (required)

• IPC 610/620/JSTD certifications (advantage)

• Two-year technical degree (advantage)
