Oracle Apps DBA

- Manage and support multiple Development, Test and Production environments on Oracle applications.
- Perform clones, patching, and code migrations as necessary to support business requirements.
- Provide and maintain comprehensive documentation on database systems, configurations, processes and standards.
- Support 24/7 applications with strong understanding of backup and recovery best practices.
- Collaborate with the IT application teams to ensure database requirements are met.
- Protect data integrity and security through access control and regular security reviews.
- Strong level of knowledge in installation and maintenance of Oracle Applications and Oracle Databases.
- Experience installing, upgrading, Oracle systems.
- Knowledge of applying product specific patches and post-installation patches for different Apps modules.
- Strong experience and knowledge in configuration and support of Oracle web server, Form server, Concurrent processing server, and Apache web server.
- Oracle DBA expertise, including recent versions from 11g-19c.
- Oracle Partitioning expertise (for tuning purposes as well as for data purging and exchange)
- Oracle Query Tuning expertise
- Familiarity with at least one ETL tool and their methods and effects on databases
- Strong knowledge in Database Performance and System tuning in Oracle Core DBA.
