Join Global Partners LP as our Business Intelligence (BI) Manager for the Retail sector, where you will play a crucial role in shaping our strategy for renowned brands like Alltown Fresh and Honey Farms. In this position, you will lead the analytics strategy in close collaboration with the Retail business unit, ensuring alignment with key objectives and measurable outcomes. Your oversight of insights delivery, data product creation, and performance optimization will empower teams across Merchandising, Category Management, Operations, Food Service, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts, promoting analytical rigor and fostering a culture of curiosity.
  • Collaborate with Retail leadership to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and create analytical frameworks to assess business performance.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into specific hypotheses and analytical plans while identifying areas for impactful data analysis.
  • Oversee the development and optimization of BI solutions, including dashboards and reports, using SQL and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Communicate analytical findings and strategic recommendations effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses using SQL, BI tools, and Python/R to identify actionable opportunities for growth.
  • Own the design and ongoing improvement of Retail dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  • Promote data literacy and self-service BI adoption while ensuring best practices in data governance.
  • Collaborate with central data teams to shape the evolution of data models supporting retail analytics.
  • Explore statistical techniques for business challenges such as customer behavior or demand planning.
  • Champion data quality and governance within Retail analytics.
