Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic in Charleston, WV

Are you an experienced diagnostic radiologist seeking a rewarding locum opportunity? We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated physician to provide excellent onsite radiology coverage in Charleston, WV. This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment, utilizing your expertise to impact patient care positively while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in infant and pediatric Barium Enemas
• Expertise in fluoroscopy procedures
• Strong diagnostic skills across modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, US, and Nuclear Medicine
• Ability to perform light interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies (thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal), CT-guided and US-guided procedures
• Experience with drainage procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drains, chest tubes, cysts)
• Skill in performing lumbar punctures (diagnostic and myelogram) and arthrograms
• Excellent interpretive and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a daily volume of 90-100 cases

Nice to Have Skills:

• Subspecialty experience in pediatric radiology or interventional radiology
• Advanced skills in fluoroscopic procedures
• Familiarity with hospital emergency protocols
• Prior experience working in hospital settings with high-volume caseloads

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiology experience
• Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain one in West Virginia

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work onsite in a hospital setting
• Compliance with all applicable licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
• Availability to start on 12/31/2025
• Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No travel required unless specified; reimbursements available when applicable
