• Call Schedule: Inpatient call every third week

• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 adult patients daily

Hematology/Oncology Physician Qualifications

• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (required)
• Completion of an Oncology Fellowship (required)
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility for temporary licensure
• DEA certification (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology
• Clean background required

Hematology/Oncology Physician Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for adult oncology and hematology patients
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies
• Participate in a rotating call schedule (1 in every 3 weeks)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including nurses, CMAs, and APPs
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate documentation and patient management
• Contribute to the ongoing excellence of the oncology clinical services
