We are partnering with our private equity client seeking a Fund Accountant. This position is hybrid with 2 days remote. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $42 to $50 per hour.
Job Descriptions:
- Maintain precise accounting records, adhering to department policies and procedures.
- Reconcile various accounts, promptly researching and correcting any discrepancies.
- Identify exceptions and pricing issues, communicating them to management and assisting in resolution.
- Prepare audit schedules, compliance reports, N-SARs, tax returns, and financial statements as assigned.
- Regularly write reports for management on fund activities and related matters.
- 1-3 years in fund accounting or fund administration
- Capital calls
- Knowledge of waterfalls
- Calculations of discounts, taxes, and fees
