Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking an Account Manager in Santa Barbara Metro, CA to strengthen client relationships and expand HVAC service offerings across commercial and institutional markets.

Impact

• Maximize account value by identifying opportunities for maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades

• Improve client retention through proactive engagement and responsive service coordination

• Drive revenue growth by converting service calls into long-term maintenance agreements

• Enhance building performance and energy efficiency by recommending tailored HVAC solutions

• Contribute to regional market expansion through strategic account planning and relationship development

Responsibilities

• Manage existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities

• Conduct regular site visits to assess HVAC system performance and recommend service solutions

• Collaborate with service technicians and project teams to coordinate maintenance and repair activities

• Develop and present proposals for preventive maintenance contracts and capital improvement projects

• Negotiate pricing and contract terms that meet client needs while maintaining profitability

• Track account activity and sales pipeline using CRM software to achieve revenue targets

• Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues to maintain strong relationships

• Stay informed about industry trends, energy regulations, and emerging HVAC technologies

• Attend networking events and industry functions to generate referrals and build brand awareness

Requirements

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC account management, technical sales, or related roles

• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize activities effectively

• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and service requirements

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice-to-Haves

• Background in HVAC service operations or field technician experience

• Experience with energy efficiency projects or retrocommissioning

• CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms)

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business or technical field
