Are you a physical therapist who specialize in ortho, TMJ/TMD looking to join an amazing company? Look no further Tribeca Physical Therapy is currently seeking a part-time physical therapist to join our team in Downtown Manhattan.
What type of patients will I see?
As a physical therapist on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients, from athletes to post-surgical patients to individuals with acute or chronic conditions especially TMJ dysfunction.
What kind of clinical experience should I have?
The ideal candidate should have experience in evaluating, diagnosis (TMJ dysfunction), prognosis, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating and progressing treatment plans. The typical workload is roughly 3-5 evaluations per week, direct 1-1 care, and the ability to have all notes completed on-site to avoid the stress of taking them home. We also prefer that you work with the patients you evaluate for better outcomes. Continuity of Care is Key
Qualifications
- Must hold the required state license for physical therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients
