Our focus at the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute is to provide an exceptional network of coordinated oncology services under one roof.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our busy outpatient oncology and infusion center, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or provider, you will perform essential clinical and administrative tasks aimed at supporting and restoring patient health.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Health education and medication administration
  • Specimen collection and assisting with procedures
  • Contributing to all phases of the nursing process
  • Ensuring safe and efficient care delivery

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current LPN license in the State of Connecticut
  • Experience in phlebotomy, bladder scanning, EKGs, and emergency response
  • Preferred experience in oncology or outpatient care
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in EMR (Epic experience preferred)
