Job Summary

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Business Analyst, you will be crucial in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions, train end-users, and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of the system.

Essential Functions
  • Identify, gather, and document business requirements and objectives.
  • Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization within Dynamics 365.
  • Work with technical teams to design and propose solutions that meet business requirements using Dynamics 365 capabilities.
  • Assist in implementing Dynamics 365 solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
  • Provide training to end-users and ongoing support to ensure effective use of the system.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track performance metrics and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Expertise in X++, the primary programming language for Dynamics 365 F&O
  • Understanding of Application Integration Framework (AIF) and Data Management Framework
  • Knowledge of data migration strategies and integration with other systems
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • At least 7 years of experience in an ERP Business Analyst role
  • Knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS) for managing implementations
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for source control and project management
  • Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules, including configuration and customization
  • Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications, conducting gap analysis, and recommending solutions to bridge functional gaps
  • Experience defining and maintaining business processes. Familiarity with business process reengineering and optimization
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale integration projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of driving business initiatives and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other IT leaders and stakeholders to achieve common goals
  • Ability to create and modify reports using tools like Power BI or SQL Reporting Services
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Experience in conducting user training and preparing documentation for end-users
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, as well as supply chain management concepts
  • Optional but beneficial certifications include Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or similar credentials
