Up To $12,500 sign-on bonus/relocation for Full-Time Paramedics with a one-year commitment

We are looking for dedicated Paramedics who are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate each emergency call to determine appropriate actions by following progressive Paramedic protocols.

  • Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.

  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure they understand the care being provided.

  • Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene responsibilities as necessary.

  • Operate the ambulance during 911 emergency responses.

  • Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety team members.

  • Engage in community programs to enhance AMR's reputation and foster strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • State Paramedic License.

  • State Driver's License.

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.

  • Driving record that aligns with company policy.

  • Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.

  • Some healthcare experience is preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Working Conditions: Willingness to work varying shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Expect long periods inside the ambulance and exposure to various weather conditions. Potential exposure to moderate noise levels and occasionally poorly lit environments.

Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Requires routine lifting of over 200 lbs. with assistance, and involves pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing stairs. Must have clear verbal communication abilities and hearing. Ability to wear a face mask or respirator as required.

Mental Requirements: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to handle high-pressure and stressful situations effectively.
