Compensation: $16.00/hour, paid weekly

Shift Availability:

  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Note: Overtime is typically required on Saturdays.

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring Quality Inspectors to join our team in Lansing, MI. This position plays a key role in ensuring that automotive components meet required quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and flexible with shift availability.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections on automotive parts throughout various stages of production—incoming, in-process, and final checks
  • Detect and document defective products; isolate and label materials that don’t meet quality standards
  • Carry out minor touch-ups or repairs when within scope (e.g., light sanding, replacing small parts)
  • Promptly notify supervisors of any quality concerns to avoid production delays
  • Keep your workspace neat and organized in accordance with 5S principles and safety regulations
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or warehouse environments (automotive experience is a plus)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stay active (standing, bending) during an 8-hour shift
  • Comfortable recording inspection data accurately by hand or digitally
  • Willing to work Saturdays and adapt to shift changes based on production needs
