Treatment and Recover Services Cert. Counselor- Newport, OR
Location : Newport, OR 97365
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Varies, occasional weekends
Job Description:
Provides direct services to clients in Samaritan Treatment and Recovery Services and Behavioral Health programs in a manner that reflects our commitment to trauma informed, evidence-based practices.

Requirements :
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor Level I (CADC I) or National Certification Addiction Counselor I (NCAC I) required. (CADC II, NCAC II, or higher certification preferred.)
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
  • Experience and/or training in computer applications required.
  • Pre-employment/post offer drug screen required prior to start.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
