LaSalle Network is partnering with a global leader in manufacturing to hire an Inventory Cost Accounting Manager. This is a high-impact role overseeing day-to-day inventory accounting, month-end close, and margin analysis across the Americas. Inventory Cost Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily inventory accounting activities, including sales and margin analysis
  • Own the month-end close for inventory-related accounts and reconciliations
  • Manage and analyze inventory reserves and oversee annual physical inventory
  • Serve as the go-to expert for PeopleSoft ERP inventory issues and improvements
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and Operations to streamline accounting processes
  • Support internal controls and contribute to annual audit preparation and execution
  • Drive process redesign efforts to reduce manual work and enhance system efficiency
Inventory Cost Accounting Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in inventory cost accounting; PeopleSoft ERP experience strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Strong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel and data tools like Power BI
  • Exceptional communicator with experience collaborating across departments
