Lead Applied Scientist for Code Generation Models

Job Description
We are looking for an innovative leader to head our research and development initiatives in code generation technologies. As the lead scientist for code generation models, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of advanced code generation and manipulation tools. You'll lead a talented team of scientists in pioneering new methods for code generation across various programming languages, improving documentation, unit testing, and database interactions through natural language interfaces.
Responsibilities

Research and Development: Conduct comprehensive research on diverse code generation techniques, including code-to-code transformations (Java, SQL, Python, etc.), doc-to-code translations, and other innovative approaches.

Model Development: Design, develop, and train cutting-edge code generation models that adhere to the highest quality standards.

Team Leadership: Construct and mentor a high-performing team of scientists and engineers.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups to integrate code generation capabilities into various products and applications.

Innovation: Discover new opportunities for code generation and investigate emerging technologies.

Stay Updated: Keep a robust understanding of industry trends and advancements in code generation.
Qualifications and Experience:

PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics, or related fields with a focus on Machine Learning and Deep Learning (5+ years of relevant experience preferred); OR a Master's or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Proven publication record, including lead author or reviewer roles, in top-tier journals or conferences.

Extensive experience in image generation, computer vision, and deep learning.

Demonstrable success in leading research and development projects.

Strong comprehension of machine learning algorithms and architectures.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Compensation Details:
US: Hiring Range from $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. Eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
