Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for the service, repair, and preventative maintenance of the bottling department at a leading vineyard. This role demands strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, such as conveyors, bottlers, and labelers. As the facility advances towards more automation, familiarity with robotic systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and preventative maintenance on bottling and packaging equipment.

• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment, including conveyors, bottlers, and labelers.

• Work with robotic systems on the production line.

• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and conveyor lines.

• Engage in maintenance and repair of pneumatic systems.

• Conduct welding and fabrication as needed for machinery breakdowns.

Essential Skills

• 5-6+ years of experience in industrial maintenance within a food and beverage production/manufacturing facility.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and conveyor systems.

• 5+ years of welding/fabrication experience, including spot welding.

• Must provide own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in bottling and/or bagging/packaging processes.

• Familiarity with pneumatic systems.

• Knowledge of automation and robotics.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MANTECA, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
