Product Marketing Manager-Micro Devices

Epson America Inc. is seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager in the Epson Microdevices group to provide creative leadership in marketing Timing Devices (Crystals and Oscillators) to Epson's wide array of Automotive OEMs, Tier1s and semiconductor customers, specifically in the area of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) (LiDAR, camera, radar, networking, connectivity, etc.) and Electric Vehicles (EVs). The ideal candidate is a strong team player with passion for growing our business and right blend of technical background & customer management skills.

Your contributions:
1. Segment Marketing:
- Drive end equipment analysis and obtain block diagrams for ADAS and EV applications
- Understand and identity timing requirements and our competitive positioning.
- Attend trade shows and webinars to understand/influence industry trends, adoption cycle, and customer needs
- Map industry & customer design locations.
- Execute customer campaigns in end equipment application segments
- Present business plans to R&D and senior management.
- Drive channel demand creation through engagement activities and trainings with Sales managers, representatives and distribution.
- Perform TAM/SAM/SOM analysis.
- Pursue reference designs with IC vendors making architectural silicon
2. Technical Product Marketing
- Present Epson value proposition, products and product roadmap to customer design engineers
- Own product line presentations, datasheets, web content, and sales training for assigned timing (crystals and oscillator) products
- Create marketing collateral such as white papers, blogs, videos, application notes etc.
- Conduct competitive analysis.
- Initiate new product proposals, identify product gaps and work with R&D and senior management to manage roadmap for assigned products
- Actively participate in product life cycle management (NPI, NRND, EOL etc.) with engineering, Sales, Operations and R&D teams
- Assist customers with product selection, including crosses and configuration
3. Customer Account Management
- Actively engage (F2F/virtual meetings) with existing customers and grow the existing customer base
- Write detailed and insightful meeting notes
- Extract key project information from customer meetings, document and organize technical information and actively engage with our engineering teams to provide timely feedback to customers to exceed their expectations
- Keep senior management up to date with key account information
- Assist customers with product questions and selection, including crosses and configuration
About Your Experience:
- Understand the major automotive players, market and automotive quality standards
- Strong technical fundamentals and attention to detail.
- Knowledge in analog circuit design, jitter and frequency is a plus.
- Strong engineering, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of account management and basic marketing concepts
- Experience working with electronics distributors and manufacturers' representatives is preferred.
- Strong communications skills - written, oral, presentation, and listening
- Strong initiative, self-starter, curiosity, can-do attitude is a must.
- Strong customer management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including working in a multi-cultural and geographically distributed team environment
- Regular travel to customers - up to 25%, US and international
- BSEE OR equivalent degree AND 5+ years of equivalent and relevant working experience

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $146,749 and $211,871. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
