Cost and Inventory Analyst

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a COST AND INVENTORY ANALYST for a stable manufacturing client located in the Detroit area.
REQUIREMENTS of the Cost and Inventory Analyst role
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Accounting setting
- Cost Accounting experience
- ERP Systems Experience
- Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
- Analyze ERP reports and investigate anomalies.
- Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
- Record month-end journal entries including but not limited to: E&O, warranty, labor and overhead applied, PPV, materials in transit, accrued sales
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Assist in audits and general ledger preparation
- Lead physical inventory counts, wall to wall as well as cycle counts
- Ad hoc reporting and requests from management team
