We are seeking a skilled Trauma & Acute Care Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide overnight inpatient coverage in a high-acuity trauma and emergency surgery environment. This role offers a high level of autonomy while working closely with trauma surgeons and a multidisciplinary care team within a modern, well-resourced health system.

• Overnight inpatient coverage for Trauma & Acute Care Surgery

• High-acuity clinical exposure with complex surgical patients

• Independent practice with strong physician collaboration

• Epic EMR across all clinical workflows

• Manage trauma admissions and emergency general surgery patients overnight

• Perform patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment planning

• Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, operative support, and resuscitations

• Interpret labs and imaging studies

• Provide comprehensive inpatient management for trauma and surgical patients

• Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic

• Collaborate with nursing, surgical, and specialty teams

• Maintain quality, safety, and performance standards for trauma services

• Annual Salary: $136,822 - $179,379 (based on experience)

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program

• NCCPA certification (PA-C)

• Active, unrestricted Colorado PA license

• DEA registration & Medicare/Medicaid provider eligibility

• BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience OR completion of a surgical fellowship

• Clean malpractice and licensure history strongly preferred

• No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
