Job Summary for LPN - Clinic (Rapid City, SD)

- Provide direct patient care in a clinic setting, specializing in orthopedics
- Take and record patient vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during exams or procedures
- Administer prescribed medications and injections
- Collect specimens for lab tests and perform basic laboratory procedures
- Accurately document patient information in electronic health records (Epic Charting)
- Deliver patient education and instructions for follow-up care and medications
- Perform routine wound care, dressing changes, and other basic nursing procedures
- Assist with scheduling patient appointments and front-desk administrative tasks as needed
- Communicate with pharmacies for prescription refills and medication clarifications

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of LPN clinic experience
- Active BLS certification
- Experience with Epic Charting system - Highly Preferred

Additional Details:
- 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week (13-week contract)
- Weekly gross pay: $2200 (includes hourly wage and per diem)
