CGP: Senior Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $38.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Process intercompany transactions and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity across entities.
- Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance and identify key trends.
- Demonstrate proficiency in large ERP systems for financial management and reporting.
- Have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with cost accounting exposure.
- Possess strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles and their application in financial statements.
- Exhibit expertise in cash accounting, including reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
- Apply analytical skills to evaluate financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Maintain keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.
- Adapt to evolving accounting standards and best practices within corporate finance.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to support financial decisions.
- Uphold professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling financial data and transactions.
