General Summary:

Job function:

To join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team for display driver support for eDP/DP/TBT4/MIPI/HDMI interface support under KMD, debugging on Qualcomm compute Snapdragon products on Win11.

Customer Engineers are expected to:

- Customize Windows ARM-based Display software drivers for OEM.

- Define/explore technical competitiveness of Display SW, including performance, power, and UEFI eDP/DP.

- Troubleshoot Windows display software, uefi eDP/DP interface, dock or dongle HDMI/DP/type-C issues.

- Partner with external customers to understand the requirements and assist customers to define proper product spec and plans.

Responsibilities:

- Integration, development, and system debugging on OEM designs.

- Porting LCD driver according OEM specific request/design and in charge of End to End support.

- Handling customer Q&A, and work closely with internal developers.

- Provide training to customer and communicate with internal for feature design details.

Preferred Skill/Experiences:

- 4+ years' experience with C/C++ programming, Experience on embedded HLOS.

- Experience with Qualcomm display software and familiar with VESA display interfaces, including MIPI, eDP, DP, HDMI, i2c, AUX.

- Experience with Windows/ACPI is a plus.

- Experience with Windows WDDM include Graphics/Video/Display/DirectX/DirectML is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Education Requirements:

- Master's degree in EE/CS, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$123,900.00 - $185,900.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
