Summary:

The Manager, Technical Program Management will lead and support a team of TPMs working across a broad range of technologies and disciplines to invent, develop, and deliver cutting-edge wearable devices. Required Skills:

Manager, Display and Optics TPM Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of people management within the Hardware TPM organization, including hiring, team structure, performance management, and career development. Responsibilities include conducting performance reviews, delivering ongoing feedback and coaching, and creating meaningful growth opportunities for direct reports

  2. Collaborate on the development of end-to-end project plans, guide teams through successful execution, and ensure leadership and key stakeholders remain aligned on progress and milestones

  3. Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to set and adapt long-term strategies in response to evolving priorities and opportunities

  4. Champion engineering and operational excellence by defining metrics and processes for continuous assessment and improvement. Lead cross-functional process enhancements to drive efficiency and quality

  5. Clearly articulate the technology, requirements, objectives, and milestones across programs and teams to ensure alignment and accountability

  6. Define clear expectations and lead the creation of a collaborative, high-accountability environment in partnership with engineering and cross-functional teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience building and leading global teams of Technical Program Managers

  2. 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management."

  3. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  4. Experience scaling organizations while fostering a positive and supportive team environment

  5. Familiarity with hardware development processes and industry-leading best practices

  6. Experience working autonomously across multiple teams

  1. Experience with Display, Optics, Cameras, and related technologies

  2. Proven experience developing and implementing program frameworks-such as the Product Development Process (PDP), New Technology Introduction (NTI) process, and Product Design Process-to enhance engineering execution, cross-functional alignment, and operational efficiency across the product lifecycle

  3. 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering scalable, high-quality consumer hardware products-bridging engineering, supply chain, and operations to enable successful mass production

Public Compensation:

$168,000/year to $234,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
