Job Summary

Minnesota Housing is hiring We're a mission-focused financial institution looking for a Network and Server Admin. This position will provide leadership over the migration and administration of our Azure cloud environment. This position will also provide top level Agency support and administration of our existing Data Centers, Servers, data storage and recovery.

Essential Job Duties
  • Provide leadership for:
  • Maintain Minnesota Housing's existing:
  • Analyze, document, and resolve or escalate technology incidents and large-scale problems.
  • Create and/or maintain technical documents for internal technology implementation and maintenance processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned .
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below. Ensure that your resume contains descriptions of your work experiences sufficient for comparison against the requirements stated below and indicate the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.

Only applicants whose resumes clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for this position.
  • Five (4) years of professional experience in designing and/or managing Cisco switching and routing solutions.
  • Four (4) years of professional experience implementing and managing core network and security infrastructure such as VPN solutions, firewall technologies, and WiFi networks.
  • Four (4) years of professional experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services in an enterprise environment.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in managing RightFax, or similar enterprise faxing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve IT issues quickly.
  • Demonstrated organizational, time management, interpersonal and team skills and dependability.
  • Two (2) years of professional experience implementing and/or managing Cisco Nexus Data Center Switches.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in managing Data backup/recovery operations, including Disaster Recovery
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in managing VMWare virtual server technology.
  • One (1) year of professional experience in planning, designing, or maintaining Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in managing Data Center technologies and operations.
  • Cultural competency as demonstrated by skills for communication and interaction across cultures and awareness of one's own world view and that different world views exist
Physical Requirements

Requires transporting heavy technology equipment into and within the data centers, data closets, and other work areas
