Duties:

"Job Summary:

-The Server Administrator strives to provide all approved users of the enterprise with uninterrupted access to applications and resources in all office locations and remotely.

- They are responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing the core server infrastructure and systems for the organization.

-They will monitor system, security, and application event logs to meet applicable service level requirements related to system availability, network security, disaster recovery and configuration backup.

-This position works with networking and security teams to ensure the server environment is secure and performing satisfactorily.

-Uses knowledge of systems design, install, and maintain physical and VMWare Windows servers and services.

-The Server Administrator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. "

Skills:

"Required Skills & Experience:

-Minimum of 6 years' experience designing, configuring and implementing core infrastructure servers and systems.

-Creative and willing to learn and assist with special-purpose software and hardware.

-Strong oral and written communication skills.

-Proficient with DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.

-Understanding of backup concepts.

-Understanding of network security, firewalls, ACLS, VLANs, network segmentation.

-Experience supporting Citrix, VMWare, and Active Directory.

-Experience with ADFS, SAML, SSO .

-Experience with deploying, configuring and managing enterprise solutions in Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and newer.

-Advanced troubleshooting skills, narrow what the source of the issue is quickly

-To be included in the on-call rotation.

-Windows Administration (21012-2022)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

-Working knowledge of Active Directory, AzureAD.

-iSCSI, Fibre Channel."
