Senior Electrical Project Leader

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience

  • Experience in commercial and industrial construction or civil applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Accubid Classic/Conest Intellibid
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field supervisors and craft/tradesmen
  • Minimum of 10-15 years in the electrical construction industry, including field and project management

Management Responsibilities:

  • Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exemplifies the highest standards of professional conduct
  • Basic understanding of interdisciplinary workflows
  • Goal-setting and tracking capabilities
  • Thorough knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, and 72
  • Team-oriented approach, fostering unity and collaboration
  • Experience managing successful projects valued from $1M to $10M
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
  • Must be in great physical health as the job requires significant standing and walking

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Project Leader:

  • Estimating change orders with thorough detail
  • Providing layout/design and engineering support
  • Attending project meetings
  • Participating in all safety activities, promoting a safe working environment
  • Collaborating effectively with office personnel and field employees
  • Assisting business development and client management in related activities
  • Serving as a company representative to clients and potential clients
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and subcontractors
  • Regularly visiting job sites to ensure project success
  • Reviewing and approving client invoices while managing schedules and reports
  • Managing financial aspects of projects to enhance cost savings
  • Familiarity with labor reporting, forecasting, and monthly updates for executive management
  • Understanding OSHA compliance requirements for assigned construction jobs
  • Utilizing preconstruction and pre-fabrication concepts prior to project initiation
