Join WE Transport as a School Bus or Van Driver, where you’ll not only enjoy a supportive work environment but also make a meaningful contribution to the lives of children in your community by ensuring they arrive at school safely.
We are currently hiring and offering Paid CDL training for those without a CDL license.
What We Offer:
- Flexible Schedule: Split-shift options for morning and afternoon.
- Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week.
- PAID CDL Permit Training.
- $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses and P & S endorsements.
- Starting Pay Rate for School Bus Van Drivers: $24.25/hour.
- Starting Pay Rate for School Bus Drivers: $28.50/hour (CDL A or B with P and S Endorsement Required).
- Earned Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.

Job Responsibilities:
- Transport students safely to and from school.
- Monitor traffic and road conditions while ensuring the safety of passengers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and district regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
- Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements, or a Class C with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain via our free training).
- Must pass a drug test and background check and comply with all CDL guidelines.
- Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver's license and complete CDL permit training.
