CSO is looking for a Family Partner Supervisor.
A Family Partner is a professional who draws upon their own lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges to support other families facing similar situations. They use their personal journey to build trust, foster hope, and help caregivers feel understood and less alone.
Impact of the Role:
Family Partners play a unique role in bridging the gap between families and service providers. By sharing their perspective, they give families hope, practical tools, and confidence in navigating complex systems. They help ensure services are responsive, family-centered, and truly collaborative.
The position will provide daily administrative and programmatic supervision of Family Partners for the successful implementation of Family Partner services across multiple sites. Will provide direct delivery of services as required.
Starting salary: $46,000-$50,000/year
As a Family Partners Supervisor:
You Will:
- Provide regular administrative and programmatic supervision to Family Partners.
- Share lived experience in a professional and supportive way to normalize challenges and reduce stigma
- Work collaboratively with clinicians, care coordinators, and community providers to ensure the family's voice is heard and respected in decision-making.
- Provide education and direction for successful implementation of Family Support & Training services, including Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) and Intensive Care Coordination.
- Work collaboratively to coordinate program development and teambuilding with the Family Partner team.
- Deliver direct care Family Partner services as required, including comprehensive home-based assessment inclusive of the CANS, family-driven identification of appropriate members of the care planning team (CPT), collaboration with a Family Partner, development and implementation of a youth- and family-centered intensive care plan (ICP), and development of a risk management/safety plan.
- Help families and staff understand the mental health system, school supports, and community resources.
- Provide community education regarding Wraparound and other CBHI services.
- Be available to work flexible schedule which may include evening and weekend work and availability by phone or pager to supervise and assist with plan implementation, as required by the needs of the program.
- Be available to provide after hours' on-call/urgent response support, including overnights, on a weekly rotational basis.
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges
- 2 years of supervisory experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents and families, including experience navigating children's systems and supports within the community
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
