We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I to enhance our exceptional Operating Room team. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $26.10 - $39.15 at Aurora St Luke's Medical Center, located at 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment conducive to optimal patient care through aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare for surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready and sterile.
  • Assist with various surgical procedures while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Effectively communicate with surgical team members, anticipating their needs during operations.
  • Transport patients and assist with their positioning, using proper techniques to ensure safety.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 6 months.
  • No prior experience required; we welcome new graduates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities throughout the shift.
  • Exposure to various health hazards; safety gear such as masks and gloves will be provided.
