Hours Per Week: 40

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures while utilizing aseptic techniques.
  • Assist with patient positioning and transportation in a safe manner.
  • Ensure operational efficiency in the operating room, including setting up and returning equipment.
  • Function as a second assistant and anticipate the needs of surgeons.
  • Maintain specialty carts and ensure all supplies are available and in good condition.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • No prior experience necessary—we will provide training

Physical Requirements: This role involves being in a very fast-paced environment and may require lifting, standing, and the use of protective gear. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and must have functional sight and hearing.
