We are seeking dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) who are ready to respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls, delivering exceptional care and customer service to those in need.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct patient assessments to determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition, and treatment while upholding patient confidentiality and rights.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Utilize Advanced EMT skills for patient care, including effective communication and operation of medical equipment.
  • Operate the ambulance safely, following all company policies and traffic laws.
  • Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as coworkers.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage in community programs to enhance the image of AMR and strengthen community relations.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • National or State Advanced EMT certification.
  • Current CPR/BLS certifications.
  • Driving record that meets company standards.
  • Successful completion of a Physical Agility Test.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Working Conditions: Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, including long shifts. Work may involve extended time inside the ambulance, as well as exposure to outdoor weather and noise levels.

Physical Demands: Moderate to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with routine lifting of over 200 lbs. also part of the role. Activities include pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs, with clear speech and hearing required.

Mental Requirements: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to handle high-pressure, stressful situations.
