Responsibilities

Orchestrates the development of a system of interest (encompassing hardware and/or software) through its entire life cycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk/opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems.

Qualifications

You Have:
  • 15+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Experience administering Linux systems, managing virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM, or similar), and software platforms (Splunk)
  • Experience providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Experience optimizing system operations and performing system capacity analysis and planning
  • Ability to provide Tiers 1 & 2 support
  • Knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 15 years of experience with systems administration or a HS Diploma and 20 years of experience with systems administration


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65.00 to $93.75 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch's total compensation package for employees.
