ASCP - Medical Laboratory Technician / Scientist

Full-Time | Day & Night Shifts Available | 3x12s

Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus (2-year commitment, paid in full within 90 days of hire)

MLR is seeking a certified or eligible Medical Lab Technician/MT/MLS (AMT or ASCP) for a full-time role with a respected healthcare provider. Lab Department Overview:

Join a dynamic department equipped with advanced technology, including cutting-edge automation, Epic Beaker, and SoftBank LIS Systems. As an MLT/MLS, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality lab services while contributing to ongoing innovations in healthcare.

MLT/MT/MLS Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex lab procedures across various areas, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
  • Analyze and interpret data while adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Medical Laboratory Technician / Scientist Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) through ASCP or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with lab information systems (LIS) like Epic Beaker and SoftBank is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
