The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Calibration Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is in North Chicago, IL 60064. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
  • $25 - $27/hour
  • Maintains, calibrates, services, troubleshoots and repairs measuring and test equipment (M&TE), analytical laboratory equipment, and process control systems used in manufacturing, quality assurance, research and development and plant utilities areas.
  • May be required to work on a variety of electrical, electronic, mechanical, process control systems, optical types, and or analytical laboratory equipment of M&TE.
  • Develop techniques as necessary to ascertain that newly acquired or developed M&TE performs in accordance with required specifications.
  • Assists in establishing and documenting appropriate job plans, data sheets, and other service protocols that may be required.
  • Ensures that GxP and safe work policies and procedures are followed and maintained at all times in accordance with established company policies.
Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have some metrology/calibration experience.
  • Maximo experience will be trained but experience in a similar system is highly preferred
  • Steel toed shoes needed - lift up to 50 lbs. - occasional use of ladders (need to be relatively comfortable with heights)
  • Good Time Management Skills, Communication Skills, Troubleshooting Skills
  • Comfortable With Using Basic Hand Tools
