Job Highlights:
Department: CT
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 paid in full on your first paycheck
Schedule: Full-time, weekends required (Saturday and Sunday)
Pay Rate: Starting at $32.48/hour with daily pay available
Shift Differentials: Weekend option available ($8.50 per shift for Friday to Sunday)
Location: SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles, MO
Requirements: Completion of a Radiology program and ARRT-R credential, with ARRT-CT certification required within 12 months of hiring. Cross-training in CT is available, and full-time employees enjoy 100% tuition benefits for additional certifications

Job Summary: As a CT Technologist, you will perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosing diseases and injuries under the protocols set by radiologists. Please note that biopsy procedures are not part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients while accurately selecting anatomic and technical parameters.
- Administer contrast media and medications within your professional scope of practice and according to regulations.
- Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any abnormal activity and suggesting updates to protocols as necessary.
- Adhere to radiation safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education:
- Completion of a Radiology Technology program
Experience:
- No prior experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision for near and far distances.
- Regular use of hearing and speech for communication and monitoring.
- Frequent lifting and moving patients as well as objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25-50 lbs and occasional bending or twisting.
Required Certifications:
BLS Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association, ARRT-R Radiography, and ARRT-CT Computed Tomography within specified timelines based on your state of work location.
