Position Overview: Join our dedicated team as a part-time CT Radiology Technologist, working weekend nights to provide crucial diagnostic imaging services. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care.

- Department: CT and Radiology
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000, paid in full on your first paycheck
- Schedule: Part-time, weekend nights (24 hours per week) - Friday 7 PM to 7 AM at Wentzville Hospital and Saturday 7 PM to 7 AM at St. Joseph/St. Charles Hospital
- Pay Rate: Starting at $30.93/hour, plus additional shift differentials for weekend and night shifts
Job Summary: As a CT Radiology Technologist, you will perform a variety of imaging exams crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries. You will be responsible for patient positioning, selecting technical parameters, and ensuring high-quality image submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate technical parameters.
- Implement radiation protection and safety standards at all times.
- Prepare and assist physicians in advanced imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media and medications according to regulations.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Contribute to prompt submission of high-quality images and patient documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Associate's degree or completion of a Radiology certification program.
- ARRT-R credential required; ARRT-CT to be achieved within 12 months of hire.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and patient handling.
- Must be able to lift and move patients, and occasionally carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
