Financial Analyst

Are you a detail-oriented accounting and finance professional looking to build your career? We're seeking a Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting investment valuations and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of companies. The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting, private equity, or similar. This is a Houston-based opportunity with a clear path for advancement.

Primary responsibilities of the Financial Analyst role include:
  • Contribute to SEC and internal reporting, as well as ad hoc projects and executive requests.
  • Assist with quarterly valuation models and analysis for portfolio companies.
  • Prepare and review financial metrics, reports, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of data for external audits and third-party consultants.
  • Participate in research, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential investments.
Primary qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; certification or progress toward CPA/CFA .
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance (ideally public accounting or similar experience).
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles (GAAP) and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
