Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations for patients throughout the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations employing standardized assessments complemented by observational techniques.
  • Create individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate goals and long-term developmental, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
  • Engage in direct speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing support.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, healthcare providers, caregivers, and families to formulate comprehensive care strategies.
  • Educate patients and families to ensure progress outside clinical environments.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing a seamless continuum of care.
  • Maintain timely and precise documentation that complies with organizational, federal, and state standards.
  • Commit to continual learning and improvement through professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA certified.
Required Certifications
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment.
