Skills:
  • 6+ years of experience on DevOps with expertise in
    • Building and managing CI/CD pipeline - gatekeeping production deployments, develop and implement GIT branching strategies, branch protection rules, network policies, scale up/ scale down the load on AWS.
    • KAFKA administration, able to plan and implement KAFKA migrations.
    • Automation, Monitoring, Alerting, quick resolution/workaround to avoid application downtime.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Solve performance issues and scalability issues in the system.
  • Ability to coordinate and work with various cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
Technical Skills:
  • DevOps and SRE
  • CI/CD - Gatekeeping Production deployments, develop GIT branching strategies, network policies, scale up/ scale down the load on AWS.
  • AWS Kubernetes, Docker
  • KAFKA - basics of KAFKA, administration, Migrations
  • Programming/Scripting using Python or Spark
  • Database - Vertica, Snowflake
Behavioral Skills:
  • Excellent Communication skills and collaboration skills
  • Ability to propose and lead improvements in the system
  • Ability to work with and manage cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proactive approach to issues, ability to provide prompt resolution/work around.
