Job Description

Overview:

Seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager/Estimator to support preconstruction efforts across multiple commercial market sectors, with a focus on senior living and hospitality projects. This role includes work on various delivery methods such as design-build, CM, GMP, and lump sum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review plans, specs, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and design partners throughout preconstruction phases.
  • Build and maintain strong subcontractor and supplier relationships.
  • Solicit, evaluate, and scope subcontractor and vendor proposals.
  • Prepare detailed estimates with supporting documentation and takeoffs.
  • Occasionally travel for meetings, design reviews, or site visits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10+ years of commercial estimating experience .
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency in Excel and estimating software.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
