Job Summary:

Responsible for the installation, commissioning, and start-up of SCR systems. This highly hands-on role requires a strong understanding of copper and aluminum rod mill systems and regular interaction with customers to support ongoing process and equipment improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise customer installations of SCR systems
  • Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot processing systems (pumps, motors, valves)
  • Identify and implement process and equipment improvements
  • Support system specification, installation, and modification
  • Manage service programs including audits, vibration monitoring, and preventative maintenance (PM)
  • Develop and maintain PM documentation
  • Train customers on equipment use and maintenance
  • Act as technical resource for customers and employees
  • Document service visits and generate daily progress reports
  • Analyze data and provide operational recommendations
  • International travel required (up to 25%, several weeks at a time)
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 15 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment installation and maintenance
  • 5 years of experience in industrial environments
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10 years of direct experience
  • AutoCAD knowledge or willingness to learn
  • Experience with project completion in industrial or technical fields
