As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse which may include, but not limited to, shipping and receiving, purchasing, product delivery, budgeting, inventory control, warehouse safety, housekeeping, and supervision of warehouse staff. You will know you're a match to this position if you are organized, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented.

Primary Duties:

  • Develop and implement improved methods of materials handling, stock control and packaging to promote efficiency, service, and reduced costs.
  • Provide for the security, scheduled maintenance, and calibration of warehouse and warehouse equipment
Qualifications:
  • Electrical Parts experience strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Individual must have strong PC skills and product knowledge. In addition, must possess interpersonal skills, organizational skills, self-sufficiency, detail oriented, and ability to communicate (verbal and written).
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Current DOT Medical Certificate is required
  • Drivers must meet Crescent Electric Supply Company's requirements to drive company vehicles as stated in the Driving Company vehicles policy found in the Employee Handbook and Policy Manual.
  • Drivers will be required to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Drivers of vehicles over 26,000 lbs gross vehicles weight require a CDL.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking/hearing. The use of hands/fingers are often needed.

Lifting and Carrying Physical Demands:
  • Continuous lifting and carrying 1-20 lbs.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying 21-50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying 51-100 lbs. Assistance of a buddy-lift or a mechanical device is advised.
Vision requirements for driving equipment and company vehicles include:
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
  • Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
  • Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
