Position Summary

Lynch Material Handling seeks a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee their warehouse operations. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, forklift operations, truck deliveries, scheduling, and maintaining a clean warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, strong organizational skills, and a focus on efficiency and detail.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient utilization of space, equipment, and resources.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and maintain a safe working environment.
• Organize and coordinate the delivery of warehouse shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.
• Drive the 26 ft box truck to deliver pallet loads to customers' locations.
• Organize schedules and allocate resources to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Manage inventory control activities, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing strategies for inventory optimization.
• Maintain communication with the Sales employees to coordinate orders and schedules effectively.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations and best practices.
• Perform manual work, including loading trucks with pallet loads and hand load items weighing 30lbs up to 50lbs.
• Stage areas and prepare for customer orders and schedules.
• Ensure truck and forklift maintenance is conducted in a timely manner.
• Utilize forklift equipment for warehouse operations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to streamline warehouse operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of warehouse operations, including inventory reports, and shipment records.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse coordinator, management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Proficient in operating a forklift.
• Self-driven and highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Demonstrated efficiency in managing warehouse operations and driving productivity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
