Summary / Objective
The Delivery Technician is responsible for safely delivering products to jobsites and coordinating with ABS personnel and General Contractors to ensure efficient offloading, staging, and preparation of materials before installation. This role plays a key part in supporting warehouse operations, field installation teams, and overall project execution.

Essential Functions

  1. Safely operates delivery vehicles, equipment, and materials to and from jobsites.

  2. Assists with pulling, loading, offloading, and securing materials at the warehouse.

  3. Offloads and distributes materials on-site in designated areas.

  4. Stages materials in buildings, floors, or rooms as directed.

  5. Preps and unboxes material both on and off job sites.

  6. Performs trash cleanup and removal from work areas.

  7. Coordinates with General Contractors, ABS Foremen, Installers, and Warehouse staff.

  8. Inventories and documents material delivered and staged on-site.

  9. Assists installers and warehouse crew as needed.

  10. Performs daily vehicle walk-around inspections and ensures vehicle cleanliness.

  11. Performs general labor tasks and additional duties as assigned.

  12. Completes material "pick ups" from vendors when required.

  13. Regularly performs heavy lifting and material handling, occasionally including stair carries.

Physical Demands

  • Regular talking, listening, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crawling

  • Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing

  • Regularly lifting/moving up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs; infrequently more than 100 lbs

  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment



Requirements

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation and valid insurance

  • Ability to pass a drug screen

  • Ability to lift 50–100+ lbs

  • Ability to obtain a CDOT Physical Exam Certification

  • Able to use smartphone apps and follow instructions

Preferred:

  • Warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience

  • Heavy equipment or large truck operation experience

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish

  • DOT license (or willing to obtain with company support)
