Job Title: Beginning School Bus Driver

Compensation: $24-$28/hr + additional bonuses

Work Schedule: Part-time weekdays, Split shifts (AM/PM), No nights, weekends, or holidays

We provide paid CDL training, consistent hours, and adaptable schedules that allow you to balance your professional and personal life.

What We Offer:

  • $3,000-$5,000 sign-on bonus (depending on license status)
  • Paid CDL training (valued at $6,000)
  • Approximately 25 hours of work each week
  • Split shifts: 5:30-9:00 AM & 1:00-5:00 PM (may vary by route)
  • Opportunities for additional charter work (field trips, sporting events, special occasions)

No CDL? No worries We will cover your training and assist you in obtaining your CDL Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport students to and from school and events
  • Drive school buses along designated routes
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections for safety
  • Assist students as they board and exit the bus
  • Adhere to all DOT, state, and district safety regulations

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years old with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
  • Clean driving record (no suspensions, etc.)
  • Ability to pass drug testing, DOT physicals, and background checks
  • CDL Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (or willingness to obtain)
